had my 1st Southeast Asian Art lecture today.
oh! Prof Irving is SO handsome! SO cute!
he's ONLY 32! and he's already my Prof....
he's a Singaporean, a former RI-RJC boy. topped Honours for SEA Studies in 1996.
won scholarship to Harvard to do Anthropology for 6 years and now teaching me.
he's half-Thai, half American so he looks really Eurasian. his Thai lang is SO fluent and articulate.
every girl in class was ogling at him. while the boys were amused about his encouragement to read GQ Men's magazine to dress up asthetically pleasing. and he encouraged girls to read Cosmopolitan so we will be in trend with the right fashion sense.
Prof Irving was wearing this bright pink long sleeves shirt with silver bracelet n beaded necklace.
he goes for facials and does skincare. he plays Friendster and he loves to club.

my guess?
he's either VERY metrosexual. very fashionable and has elegant taste.
he doesn't allow us to come class in t-shirt, shorts and slippers.
or homosexual. hahah. (i seriously hope not!)
well, he trims his eye brows. does that count?

Prof Irving hates NUS architecture. he felt that it's hideous and lack creativity in expression.
everyone in class agreed. it's so dull and boring. stiffles creativity and originality.
campus should be open and spacious. each building should have its own character and story.
this class has many American Exchange student. and a few ABCs.
drop dead gorgeous babes. they wear mini-skirts and apply make-up to class.
really to sight to drool over. sweet faces. and pretty vocal and interactive.
once again, the Singaporeans are the usual boring backdrop that blends into the wall... lala~

okay, the more serious stuff.
this module is about drawing and appreciating lai Thai. aka Thai Art.
mainly, they consist of mural paintings, dance, drama and comedy.
also, we will analyze the interplay between Art as we define it, daily life, religion and politics.
there will also be sessions on Java Gamelan music, Kelatan Love Magicians, Balinese shadow plays etc...
for our tutorials, we will be practicing drawing the lotus flower in the form of lai Thai, and its variations. we will also be watching films and doing reviews. the readings consist of many glossy coffee table books on SEA Arts and interior designs.
this modules sounds really interesting, the classmates are fun too.
hope i enjoy this learning journey =)

quite enjoyable to hang around with them.
Dennis still looks as good. he's one guy who knows lots about fashion, skincare and how to dress up. well read and well travelled. our guru!
Josh better hang out with Dennis more and be influenced positively!
we were bitching about Vance behind his back and guess what?
when i went to the fruit stall, i ran into him. damn.
no wonder there's a Chinese proverb that says "don't talk about other people in the day. don't talk about ghosts and spirits at night".
but Vance doesn't hang out with our PS Gang anymore. don't know why. whatever~

ohhh.... had a very satisfying session with Joshua today.
just went on longer, harder and more exciting than before.
heh. get what i mean?
okay. explicitly, i am saying that his love making skills have improved greatly. i'm glad *hugs Josh*

i met her today. she was with a guy. an ex-TJC senior.

my god! doens't she even know the basic courtesy of smiling when saying high?
